Markers are automatically placed on top of wave-forms. The marker placement algorithm is simple and attempts to place markers at the highest (or lowest) amplitude between two points. If the placement range is too early, too late, or too wide, the algorithm may place markers inappropriately, as in the image below, where the a-wave is placed after the b-wave.
To correct marker placement, click the Scaling and Markers tab at the top of the screen. .
When the popout menu appears, click Cursors on to enable the crosshair cursors.
Next, use the drop-down menu at the top to select the marker you wish to move.
Tip: clicking the right mouse button will jump to the next marker in sequence!
Move the cursor to where you want to place the marker as shown below, then either press the Place Marker button or double-click the left mouse button to place the marker.
Tip 1: Spread apart results for easier review. Use separate mode to spread apart results for analysis. To do so, use Display tab; Overlay Mode = Results, Separate Mode = On.
