Sometimes test results may appear inverted. This happens when the active and reference electrodes are plugged in reverse. You will want to make sure that they are plugged in correctly. To fix this after a recording is already done follow the instructions below.
ERG/VEP Tests:
1) Open the test that has inverted recordings.
2) When the loaded test is up, click on the Results
tab on the top. This will open up a pop out menu.
3) Check to see if it is only one eye or both eyes that are inverted. If it is only one eye, disable the All Channels
on the bottom left of the pop out and select the correct eye on the very top.
4) Click on Invert Result
on the pop out menu. The selected result(s) will invert. If All Channels
is toggled on, the same result of all channels will be toggled on. If All Channels
is toggled off, only the selected channel will invert.
Note: If only one eye was inverted, remember to invert the OP results for that eye as well!
5) Step through the rest of the of the test and make changes as necessary.
6) Print and save as needed.
Multifocal Tests:
1) Open the test that has inverted recordings.
2) When the loaded test is up, click on the Test Options
arrows on the right side to expand it.
3) Click on Refilter Raw Data
. A popup will appear in which you can select which channels you'd like to invert. Once you select your channels click on Ok.
4) Select RMF file for your test from the C:/Multifocal/Autosave folder. The rmf file name will indicate which test it is associated with. Click open.
5) Test data will now appear correctly. Save the test and print as needed.
